ARE TASTINGS COMPLIMENTARY?

Each Tin City business is independently owned and sets its own pricing. Many participating businesses will be offering special tastings, experiences, and pricing for the day in the spirit of TinSide & Out Holiday. Come ready to explore, try something new, and make a day of it.

ARE THERE FOOD OPTIONS?

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE THERE?

Come spend the day exploring Tin City. Businesses will be open as usual, alongside a little extra holiday fun. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be stopping by, the Sundance Central Train will be open in the Train Hall, and hot cocoa will be available for purchase in the park from Proof and Gather Baking Co. Gingerbread House Contest entries will also be on display, ready for your votes.

IS THERE STILL TIME TO ENTER THE GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST?

You bet! There's still time to whip up a little gingerbread magic. Registration closes December 1, so don’t wait too long.

WHAT IS THE SUNDANCE CENTRAL TRAIN?

Sundance Central is one of the most celebrated large-scale model railroads in the country. Built by hand in Florida, it spans about 45 by 45 feet with 400 feet of hand-spiked track, and spent more than a decade drawing crowds at train shows across the country. In 2024, our Tin City founder and lifelong train lover, Mike English, brought it here to the neighborhood he built from the ground up. It now lives in the new Tin City Train Hall at the park.

Stop by to see this beloved model railroad up close, as part of the festivities at TinSide & Out on December 12th.

WHAT IS THE BOTTLE COAT CHECK?

The Bottle Coat Check is a service for guests who make purchases from Tin City businesses and would rather not carry them around for the rest of the day. Simply let a team member know and we will collect your items directly from the business where you made your purchase and bring them to our Bottle Coat Check location at 3075 Limestone Way, right within Tin City. At the end of the event, just swing by to pick everything up.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR OR BRING?

It's December in Paso, and apparently Super El Niño may want to join the fun. Plan for layers, comfortable walking shoes, and maybe a rain jacket or umbrella. We're celebrating rain or shine, so bundle up, come enjoy the neighborhood, and let it pour!
