WHAT IS TINSIDE & OUT?
TinSide & Out is a free, neighborhood-wide open house at Tin City in Paso Robles on Saturday, June 27 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. It's an invitation to spend the day exploring Tin City at your own pace, visiting the wineries, distillery, brewery, restaurants, makers, and producers that make this neighborhood so special.
WHAT ARE THE EVENT HOURS?
The event runs from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, June 27.
IS ADMISSION REALLY FREE?
Yes! This year TinSide & Out is an open house style event, which means there is no ticket required to attend. This is a change from last year when the event was ticketed. While admission to the event itself is free, please keep in mind that individual businesses within Tin City set their own pricing for tastings and experiences. Many will be offering something special and affordable for the day, so come ready to explore and support the local businesses that make this neighborhood so special.
IS THE EVENT FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Yes, TinSide & Out is open to all ages.
ARE TASTINGS COMPLIMENTARY?
Each business within Tin City is independently owned and operated, so pricing is up to them. That said, many participating businesses will be offering special, affordable experiences for the day that reflect the open house spirit of the event. We encourage guests to come ready to explore and visit as many spots as possible. We want TinSide & Out to feel welcoming and accessible for everyone.
ARE THERE FOOD OPTIONS?
Yes! In addition to Tin City's existing restaurants and food businesses, there will be a couple of food options at The Annex.
WHERE IS THE ANNEX?
The Annex is a second part of the Tin City neighborhood located at Cow Meadow and Ruth Way. It's home to four wineries and Sticky Candy. It is not the City Hall Annex. Check out our map of Tin City here to get a visual lay of the land: Tin City Map
WHAT IS THE FREE SHUTTLE AND WHERE DOES IT GO?
A free shuttle will run throughout the day between the main Tin City area and The Annex at Cow Meadow and Ruth Way. It's a great way to explore both areas of the neighborhood without worrying about parking or walking between the two.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes, parking is available within and around Tin City. We also encourage guests to take advantage of the free shuttle running between Tin City and The Annex throughout the day. We also encourage using Uber and Lyft.
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE THERE?
There will be axe throwing, an ECHO Homeless Shelter Cornhole Toss Tournament, a curated makers market featuring local artisans, food trucks, and live music throughout the day.
IS THERE LIVE MUSIC?
Yes! There will be live music at multiple stages throughout the neighborhood all day long, including at the Hubba Stage, Barrelhouse Stage, the park, and The Annex.
WHAT IS THE BOTTLE COAT CHECK?
The Bottle Coat Check is a service for guests who make purchases from Tin City businesses and would rather not carry them around for the rest of the day. Simply let a team member know and we will collect your items directly from the business where you made your purchase and bring them to our Bottle Coat Check location at 450 Marquita Dr, right within Tin City. At the end of the event, just swing by to pick everything up.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR OR BRING?
June in Paso Robles can be warm, so dress comfortably and come prepared for the heat. Wear comfortable walking shoes as you'll be exploring the neighborhood on foot.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
