ABOUT LEVEL 3
Level 3 is the latest wine endeavor for Norm & Susan Benson. Twenty years ago, the husband and wife team created Dark Star Cellars on the Westside of Paso Robles. The nexus for Level 3 is to produce very limited amounts of Ultra-Premium handcrafted red wines. To that end, they have created three blends: “Driven,” a Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc; “Choice & Chance,” a Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah blend; and “Milestone,” a Rhone blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. Only a few hundred cases of each wine are produced. The wines are only available at the tasting room, their website and at selected restaurants.
