TIN CITY'S GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST
Calling all gingerbread architects, frosting enthusiasts, and ambitious amateurs.
Build your gingerbread masterpiece at home, then bring it to Tin City to be displayed inside one of our neighborhood businesses.
On Saturday, December 12, during TinSide & Out: Holiday Open House, visitors will explore the neighborhood, discover the creations, and vote for their favorites.
The top three houses win. Bragging rights included.
Registration closes 12/1st.
THE RULES
- Build on a sturdy board, no larger than 18" x 18"
- Everything visible should be edible or food-based. Clear sealant sprays are welcome to help it last.
- No perishables like fresh fruit or buttercream, so your house holds up for a week indoors
- Battery-powered lights only
- Drop-off is December 8 to 10 at your assigned location
- Pickup is by [date]. Anything left after that will be composted.
